One of the greatest satisfactions ever, and I mean ever, is creating something from a bunch of small things, a ball of clay, or even a disorganized mess. I have what I like to refer to as my "treasure chest" which is a collection of beads, pendants, and even broken jewelry that I want to save for a new project someday. A big dream of mine has always been to be up there with the great Artistic minds of the ages- but to get there, I needed to start a little smaller- So, after a lot of thought and courage really, I decided to start my Ecrater store!
Crafting, or any kind of creative thinking/activity is my life- no really it's an obsession. Don't get me wrong, I adore my husband, and my three kitties, but creating has a special place in my heart. I know all you fellow artists know what I mean! It helps clear the cobwebs in my head, brings my ideas to something tangible and helps express who I am and what I'm about. That's a pretty powerful thing, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
